Styling Tips for the New Wide Cropped Pants 2
Only three days left in the pre-order period for our new cropped wide-leg pants.
Many customers seem to be having a tough time deciding between mustard and sage green. Some customers even ordered two pairs! Thank you very much.
The silhouette that flares out towards the hem is like a skirt, but it gives a sharper impression than a skirt. The single front tuck seems to enhance that sharp impression.
We also intentionally chose metal neo-bar buttons. They're the same buttons used on denim, so they won't wobble or come off even with heavy use. We also appreciate that they give a neutral, workwear-like impression.
This time, we'll share styling tips for sage green. Let's take a look at the styling variations!
On hot summer days, wear them with a T-shirt and sandals for an easy, relaxed look. How can you wear wide-leg pants with a flared hem for a perfect fit?
-
Tuck an oversized T-shirt into the waist. Highlighting the waist makes your legs look longer and creates a balanced look, and showing the front tuck prevents it from looking sloppy.
-
Keep your feet cool with sandals. Add a basket bag and straw hat for a seasonal touch.
-
Sage green is easy to pair with dark colors like black and navy, and it lightens the overall impression without making it look heavy.
Next, let's pair them with the organic cotton striped shirt that KOTONE previously produced.
-
Tucking in a loose shirt and cinching it with a belt creates a neat impression.
-
Leave the neckline wide open to keep the area around your face cool and prevent it from looking too constricted. This is also a good way to show off a necklace against your skin.
-
For footwear, pair short boots with colorful socks for a relaxed, casual look. If you opt for pumps or ballet flats, it will create a more formal impression. Because they are cropped, adding playful or elegant elements to your footwear can completely change the impression.
Finally, a style for when the seasons change and you wear a cardigan or sweater.
In early autumn, pair it with a shirt and cardigan. I layered an Aran-style cardigan over a kapok shirt from KOTONE with a knit tie, creating a student-like image. Pairing a shirt with a knit tie instantly elevates the look and creates a sharp overall impression. It's too good an item to be reserved only for men's business wear.
When going out, I'd love to wear a plaid hunting cap or newsboy cap.
-
Add bright colors like cream or white to prevent autumn and winter dark colors from becoming too heavy. In the style above, a cardigan and knit hat add brightness around the face.
-
Knit ties and knit hats. Thick, colorful socks and bags that add color. Don't forget that accessories other than clothes complete a person's style.
-
Layering when it's cold. Layer two turtlenecks to show color from the neckline. Layer leggings and pants to add color. For layering, keep elements in similar colors or make them stand out with contrasting colors to create a stylish focal point.
Sage green has a clean feel, and depending on how you wear it, it can give a neat, uniform-like impression or serve as an accent color to brighten up an otherwise dark outfit.
We hope you enjoy finding your unique way to wear it.
