Denim was supposed to be a part of my everyday life.

At some point, commercially available denim no longer fit my body properly, perhaps because of the rise or the stomach area, so my butt looked flat and saggy when I wore them, and the fabric was weaker than before, causing holes to appear in the knees and pockets within less than a year.

First of all, it is difficult to find denim made from 100% cotton, and as a result of prioritizing comfort, modern denim inevitably has a few percent polyurethane added to it to add stretch.

Polyurethane deteriorates over time, which is why denim knees tend to show first, which is why second-hand jeans always end up looking worn and unattractive.

Also, while excessive processing, fading, and distressing were enjoyable when you were younger, it becomes more difficult as you get older and want to maintain a clean look.

We understand that the production of countless denim garments around the world every day places a heavy burden on the earth and water resources.

We want to make and deliver just the number needed, without waste, a piece that can be cherished and worn for a long time.

Naturally, the denim fabric used is 100% organic cotton. We wondered if it was possible to create denim that is comfortable to wear, that makes you feel good wearing it, and that can be worn for a long time and develops over time as it wears... We want to be able to wear stylish denim even when we're old ladies. It's been about three years since we came up with this idea.
